Joshua Tree

Friday night we drove over to Joshua Tree to camp for the night. We slept in the back of the 4Runner because it was pretty cold (for these parts, anyway). I just looked up the weather history and it got down to 22 degrees F the night we were camping! Brrrr!

The next day we did some bouldering on the big rock formations around our campsite.

This was the view from the top of the the rocks we climed up. If you look close you can see a white camper just off the dirt rode towards the middle of the picture.

This is a Joshua Tree, in case you've never seen one.

The rest of the day we drove around and explored the park. On a clear day, you can see almost to Mexico from this viewpoint. It was a little smoggy the day we were there. :(
