The other day when I was out running errands I went to the “Marukai 98¢ Superstore,” which is the Japanese equivalent of a dollar store. Everything is 98¢ or $1.50. I liked it because it kind of reminds of shopping in Indonesia-there is so much stuff to sift through and you can only guess what some of the things are! Here are a few of my random finds:
a bamboo basket, light blue paper lantern, foil baking cups, fake grass garnish (I have plans to use these for Easter decorating), citrus juicer & popcorn bags

It really makes me want popcorn! I think firearms and popcorn go well together.
(I could use a pretty juicer like that one!)
Don't you love random little stores like that?! There's a Japanese $1.50 store in Lynnwood that I love to shop at. You never know the random (and very cheap) things you'll find.
