I came back to work on Thursday to find the streets lined with news trucks. "On Wednesday, June 14, 2006 a team of nearly 80 people at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles – general, orthopaedic and plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses, as well as other caregivers and specialists – successfully separated conjoined twin girls, Regina and Renata Salinas Fierros, who were joined at the mid-abdomen and pelvis, facing one another." I actually met these little twins before they were seperated as they were on our floor about a month back being worked up for the surgery.
