Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving took us to Idaho to see my parents new home! We had a wonderful weekend!
Yes, the Wii came with us . . . There were many rounds of Tiger Woods Golf.

Another one of Luke's birthday presents was a boomerang. On our touring of downtown Boise we went to a park by the river and boys tried their hand at throwing the boomerang.

Then it got stuck in the tree. (This is a common problem. That same boomerang actually spent the last week in a tree in Pasadena, until Luke went back and threw baseballs at it for half an hour and retrieved it!)

While we there we enjoyed this bottle of wine. Notice the: "Washington 78% - Idaho 22%." My parents are born and raised in Washington, spent the last 18 years in Indonesia, and moved to Idaho in October. So the wine kind of tells their story (minus the Indonesia part-they're not really known for their vineyards)!

Some of our weekend activities included black light miniature golf, a trip to the Cabela's superstore, and taking in the decorations and lights downtown. (Anthony had to stay home and work on some reading for school.)

Now you see it, soon you won't. Anthony has plans to cut his hair in the New Year.

You may notice my Dad is missing from the pictures because he left the morning after Thanksgiving for a trip to Bangladesh. He went to do an inspection on a plane that is being used for relief work after the cyclone. We missed him, but we're also happy he could help out.
