I had to work on my actual birthday, but Luke surprsied me for lunch while I was working and filled my birthday weekend with lots of fun outings including:
*a "private" screening of "The Compleat Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged"*professional beach volleyball in Manhattan Beach-we got to see Olympic gold medalists Kerry Walsh and Misty May
*dessert at Susina Bakery, one of my favorites
*picnic, concert, & fireworks at the Hollywood Bowl
