Day without an immigrant

It's a crazy day here in LA with all of the "Day without an immigrant" marches that I'm sure many of you have seen if you seen the news today! It's been interesting to talk to people at work as there is a large Latino population and some very strong opinions on both sides of the issue.

I had a class at work today that got over around 3:30 pm. I turned on the radio and the protestors were just passing my usual route home at the cross streets of Vermont and Wilshire. So, I took a different route and there was a little more traffic with drivers trying to steer clear of all the road closures. There were also three helicopters circling above trying to capture pictures of the crowds! What an day!
