Susina Bakery

Last night we were in the mood to get out of the house, so we decided to try out a bakery I'd seen featured on citysearch.com (I've found so many great recommendations through that site!). So, we set out to Susina Bakery, on the corner of La Brea and Beverly.

The scene as described by Citysearch: "Step through the art-nouveau arches into a faux Parisian bakery. Glass-covered cases are lined with rows of pastries, glass jars on shelves are stuffed with brightly colored candy and beaded chandeliers add sparkle to the already gleaming space. Patrons of all ages come to sip tea, read the paper and linger in the leather-covered banquettes or at the bistro tables outside."

We enjoyed the ambiance at the small, candle-lit tables. I had a fresh fruit tart and Luke had chocolate raspberry cake. Both were delicious! We'll definitely be going back!
